02-18-09 - Bid openings will be on March 17th at 2:00 p.m. at the Axtell Community Hall / Fire Hall (419 Main Avenue).
02-04-09 - Rural Fire Board meeting to present plans for new fire station and open floor for discussion of agreement or opposition. No negative input.
Progress: release bids for construction of fire station
The beginning stages of construction began in late September of 2008.
